The chamber is looking for cooperation with the United Nations. 

At the premises of the Qatar chamber of commerce and industry, a meeting was held between Mr. Mohamed Bin Tuwar, member of the executive, and Dr. David Pompikens , Head of the aid  partnership between the private and public sectors of the United Nations with the attendance of Mr.Saif AL kuwary,director of committees department. The meeting discussed the partnership between the public and private sectors  .Dr.David also introduced the idea of establishing   Center Of Excellence for PPP under the supervision of him and under the patronage of the United Nations. The choice of the State of Qatar to establish this centre reflects the international confidence of Qatar as a great economic center,Bin Tuwar said .He also added that the chamber would introduce the idea for the interested authorities for studying .This centre, which costs 10 m euro ,would help the states members to cooperate in PPP programs.

Bin Tuwar also suggested an idea to create workshops for the purpose of presentation the PPP in the chamber in March 2010 .The chamber will invite many businessmen and officials, especially from the economy ministry, to attend these workshops, introduced by Dr.David himself.
