Mr. Mohamed Bin Ahmad Bin Towar, QCCI Executive Committee Member headed in the presence of Dr Khalid Klefeekh Al Hajri, QCCI last Thursday a meeting with members of the Austrian trade delegation headed by Dr. Richard Shenzh Vice-President of Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Mohamed welcomed members of the Austrian delegation stressing that the current boom which the State of Qatar witnessing now  , as well as incentives and facilities provided by foreign investors has made Qatar the focus of businessmen and international companies from around the world, pointing out that the aim behind the hosting of such visits by the chamber is working to increase opportunities and areas of economic and trade cooperation between businessmen from both sides.

In his speech to the meeting, said Dr. Richard Shenzh, Head of the delegation to the extent of his admiration of the boom take place in Qatar in all fields and which appears in the tremendous economic growth currently witnessed in the country.

He also pointed out that the aim of these visits is identifying Austrian companies and searching for partners and partnerships with Qatari businessmen also pointed out that many Austrian companies already exist in the Qatari market. Pointed to the Austrian side's keenness on providing the expertise to the Qatari companies in fields of Know How and Hi -Tec industries.

He also indicated that negotiations were underway on the signing of the Treaty on the Non double taxation between both Qatar and Austria.
