Qatari businessmen hold talks with Italian trade team.

A two-day meeting of Qatari businessmen and members of a visiting Italian delegation began yesterday at the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI).

During the meeting the two sides will discuss means of taking advantage of business opportunities and the exchange of information.

The meeting was attended by QCCI’s board member Ibtihaj Mohamed al-Ahmadani and the head of the Italian businessmen Committee Alberto Bossi. Talks during the meeting dealt with means of enhancing trade exchange in terms of exporting the Italian products mainly furniture, construction and building materials, fashion, recycling and environment products.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Ibtihaj Mohamed al-Ahmadani said: “Communication between Qatari businessmen and their Italian counterparts aim to promote exchange of expertise and investment opportunities between the two parties”.
