Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) will attend a meeting of the International Labour Organisation to be held from June 3 to 19 June to search for an effective response to the growing impact of the economic and financial crisis on employment, social protection and the world of work.

Board member Nasser Al Meer, who is also head of the Chamber’s contracting committee, will lead QCCI delegation to the conference which, among other issues, will be discussing workers’ rights and freedom. During the plenary delegates will also address the latest ILO report on the situation of workers in the occupied Arab territories.
