During the meeting they discussed ways and means to support and strengthen the bilateral relations of cooperation between the two countries, where Dr Khalid Al Hajri stressed that the current boom taking place in the State of Qatar has been accompanied by many investment opportunities in many economic fields, which might be a meeting place for cooperation between businessmen in both Qatar and Indonesia. Dr. Al Hajri pointed out that these fields include sectors such as construction and contracting, banks and tourism cooperation.

For his part, Mr. Krishna Suparto said that Negara Bank of Indonesian is the third biggest government bank in Indonesia also pointed to the desire of the Indonesian Bank to cooperate and take advantage of Qatari experiences in the field of Islamic banking in view of the large magnitude of the Indonesian banking market and small share of Islamic banking transactions. Mr. Krishna pointed the accompanying delegation includes representatives from the Indonesian companies operating in various areas such as the construction sector, financial services and oil and gas.
